Has anyone used a magnum tuning o2 simulator on there DSM. I recently removed my entire exhaust and replaced it with a 3" Apexi Gt downpipe and exhaust system. I completely removed my rear o2 sensor and replaced it with a wideband air/fuel ratio sensor and guage. I checked around and could only find the magnum tuning o2 simulator which enables you to stop the check engine light while completely removing the rear o2 sensor. I wanted to know if anyone has used it and how well it works, and are there any other alternatives.

You may not need one depending on the features of your wideband and how you have it setup. If you intend to log the wideband voltage values then you should wire the wideband analog output into pin 75 (rear O2 sensor) of the ECU.

If you will only be using the gauge then you should check to see if the unit has an analog narrow band output. If it does then you can wire that into pin 75. This way the ECU thinks that the stock sensor is still there.
