First, I want to say that Ive posted in Full Throttle forums, but no help there
Just bought a MAFT for my 94 Galant /4g64/. I got it running - car pulls much harder than before, but it seems that the IDLE, MID and WOT knobs do not work. With the car Idling I turn the IDLE knob all the way to lean trying to change the number on the wideband and nothing happens. Let the ECU adjust for few minutes....same thing. Ive tried all knobs under mild acceleration, hard acceleration and wot - the AFR do not change from what the would be if I put all knobs to zero. I still ahve the stock injectors which are 275cc, but Im going to put the EVo3 injectors soon - 510cc
Im using this table to set my base/aux setting and the formula to compensate:
stock inj/new inj - 1 = 275cc/275cc -1 = 0%
0% = Base-2/ AUX-C
Idle is fine, it bounces around 14.7,Under mild Acceleration it drops down to 13.5 -13, Under hard acceleration it goes down to 12.5-12. Cruising is around 14.3-14. I think its a little rich.
Oh and by he way, I cant log the ECU - I just use the wide band /PLX/. I have that strange OBD1.5 thing. It has OBD1 codes and OBD2 plug...weird
