Maft power Q

[Spool'n Spyder]

Ok, my Spyder caught on fire and i'm trying to put it back together. I am wondering if the maft translator's led's will come on even if you dont have the 3" maf hooked to it. Mine burnt and I ordered the extension harness to hard wire into it and see if it would work so I dont have a maf yet, but when I hook it up and turn the key on the led's dont light up.

if you have no led's you have no power. With a maf unhooked you would recieve a certain amount of red blinks. "error codes"
