I was just wanting to see if someone had any data on the knock count in comparison to 1 click on the wot knob of the maft. Is there a standard when adjusting it. Let me explain more in depth. I am currently at 0 knock and all trims right where i want them. If i go one click lean on my wot knob, i get 3 counts of knock. So would 2 clicks be about 6 counts of knock at my current settings?

I am wanting to know this because currently with the zero knock, i am at 16psi and I am going to try to tune it 1-2 psi at a time until i get to 20-21psi. I am going to go up 1-2psi and if i get say 3-5 knock counts, turn the knob one click rich. Just wanted this info to help me out in my tuning.

Any links would be great or some explanation from wisemen or Mike if you see this.

well i went out today in an effort to turn up the boost as stated above. Needless to say...it didn't work out to well. I was knockin' like a mo' fo. I turned the boost controller 1 full turn (turbo xs pro). This yielded me with a 17 psi boost pressure an increase of 1psi. My knock went up to 12 counts. I could feel the power loss too, due to the ecu retarding. So I tried 1 click richer on my WOT knob. This didn't do a damn thing, knock was still there. So i tried 2 clicks richer, this put me at like 4 counts of knock, but it was bogging down like it was way too rich and it was way less powerfull then it was at 16 and getting 0 knock.

I'm thinking of just trying to advance my timing to about 8* BTDC and keep it on the perfect 16psi setting, see if i get any knock. This would give me some good pwr gain if i can get away with it. If i can't get it down, i'm just going to leave it alone, get an SAFC installed and go to Atlanta and have it dyno tuned.

So for now i put all my settings back to where it was perfect for me.

Someone help me out with how to increase this boost pressure to 20 and get the A/F ration right.

I am getting knock with my car on my MAFT in 1st gear, but not in 2nd 3rd etc. It is a little weird. I am reading on my wideband about 10.5:1 though. My timing is reading 20 degrees in the upper gears too. I have just started tuning my car with a 20G on 550's @20psi. first gear feels like crap, but 2nd and 3rd pull like an SOB. If I get this mystery figured out I will try to help you out.

I think that the on the "normal" settings, one click on the knob is taking away too much timing. I am going to try to swith to "Fine Tuning" mode and see if the 2% increase per click in the rpm bands will get it straightened out.
