98 GSX automatic. I recently put in an Injen Intake with Greddy BOV the stupid Injen intake has no place for the recirculation hose. The car is up on blocks and runs fine but atmospheric messes with your air/fuel ratio and bogs car down is what I read.

Is all I need a MAF Translator and that's all (Just to fix atmospheric problem)? If so with the 2gen MAF translator work? Thanks please help

Yes and yes. But I would go out and buy the dejon tool maf IC pipe setup. It makes things alot easier... or just by link if you got the money, the IC pipe and a 3" GM MAF. Then your bog/AF ration issue will be a thing of the past. I know, I went through that whole setup... finally graduating to V3 from EMC Link University :D :thumb:

ok i dont mean to steal your thread.. but whats the cheapest route to go atmospheric? without making your car run like crap..!

GM MAF + TRANSLATOR is the cheapest way to do it right.
Check the classifieds on this site, someone is always selling one.

If you are using stock IC piping then get the dejon pipe kit or make your own.
Otherwise you can cut off some of your existing IC piping and get reducers for the GM MAF (a 3" GM MAF needs 3.25" couplers). you can go to siliconeintakes.com
for a good price on the reducers.

My suggestion is try the BOV Atmospheric and if car doesnt hiccup when shift or bogs down and gas mileage is the same and no check engine light comes on theres no problem .. If not follow Jeremylee suggestion. My cars been running better then befor with mine running atmospher with my injen intake. Another thing you can do is go to Dynotuning and get speed density and theyll fix it for you but thats a bit more expensive.
