I agree with all of that. I was under the impression you were calling it crude because of how it looks. I definitely agree that piggybacks are useless with a high horsepower setup, but for your average tuner without much knowledge, they are great. I just wish I had the money/mods to need something beyond a piggyback at this point.Syndicate13 said:Any piggyback device that alters settings by lying to the ECU about certain values is a crude tool. An AFC would also fall under this category, just because it has a fancy display doesn't make it great. There is a difference in things that work and what works well. An AFC or MAFT will get you by on mild setups with mild injectors. Find a car running 950cc injectors on a MAFT or AFC without any other fuel compensation and I'll PayPal you a dollar.
