maf options with evo 8 ecu in 2g dsm.

Wondering what are my options for the maf now. Were going to use a evo 8 ecu? Does the evo 8 maf plug right in to the 2g dsm harness or should we still go with the gm 3 or 4 inch maf and do we need to get the MAF Translator ? Just not sure what my options are with this evo 8 ecu.

Our car is a 98 dsm with 2.4 stroker, 278 cams, forced performance old school red updated turbo, 1000 cc injectors, 6 bolt swap, aem cam gears, lots more but no need to list at this point.

You can use any MAF you want, as long as you input the values for that MAF in ECUFlash. The EVO 8 MAF doesn't plug in, you need an adapter. To run the GM MAF you still require the MAF translator.

So what's the best option for this evo 8 ecu? Witch is better gm maf or evo 8 maf? We have 2 gm maf's here all ready so we would only need the trans to run ir but its only 50 bucks more to get a evo 8 maf new.
