Machine shops

Anybody know of any good machine shops in the anchorage, wasilla, or kenai/soldotna area?

I am thinking I am just going to get my head rebuilt but I want it done right by a company that knows what they are doing. It would be cool if they installed it to after rebuilding it.

A/C machine in Chugiak has a lot of experience with the 4G63 heads. I've had two done there and theres usually one or two there being done. They don't do installation though. Think going to be tough find place that can do the machine work and the installation.

Know anybody who does a good job with installation? I dont want it to break on me because the company who did it did a bad job. Thats what just happened to me cus the previous owner had a friend do it and obviously he did poorly .

Thats getting be a problem the few I can think of like Underground is good but could take awhile and not going be cheap. I have friend that has galant and 3000gt thats done quite a few and did mine for engine I'm rebuilding. I'm guessing though need find someone in Kenai area ? If decide get car up Anchorage could ask if he would do it. Getting trust worthy repairs on a DSM's getting tougher up here foresure.

nope it does not have to be in kenai. I have family in anchorage and wasilla so I dont mind going out there for it.

would you be willing to take a weekend and install it/ teach me a little while your doing it? I can pay you and I love learning new things especially things like cars.
