lug nut key broke inside rim

help will be strongly appreciated...

i was in the process of changing my rear brakes then this happens the lug nut key i have for my lug nuts snaped in half inside my rim i tried everything i can think of in trying to remove this peace from the hole but caint

i was told to take off the rest of the lug nuts and jack the car up and push the wheel towerds me in diffrent directions this should bend the lug nut stud till it snaps.....im not sure if i should do this because i dont want to dammege anything else but if it works please let me know or any other way that can help thanks heres a pic of this nightmare:cry:

you can see in the pic that its wraped around the lug nut its reaally in there tight ive tryed pliers flat heads hammering it losse nothing works....idk what to do

Scrap the lug nut and get either some strong vice grips on it or try a healthy sized bolt extractor. I wouldn't ever try to use the rim to snap a stud off unless the wheel was scrap.
 
Get out a drill and a big bit and start drilling carefully so you don't damage the rim. You'll have to replace the wheel stud and nut but those are cheap in comparison to breaking something else in the process of trying to remove it.
