I had a set of Eibach Pro Kits lying around from my old 98 GS (only 3K miles on them), and I finally got around to installing them on my GST Spyder in conjunction with some new KYB AGXs. Much to my dismay the drop is much more severe on my Spyder than it was on my GS.
I can live with the front height, there's about two fingers of wheel gap there, but the driver's side rear is just slammed. I can't see the top of the tire in the wheelwell, nor can I fit my fingers in there. The passenger side is noticeably higher (maybe 1.5 fingers of space), but it seems lower than I remember the GS being at all four corners.
I've changed suspension on various 2gs about 8-9 times, so I'm pretty confident that I assembled everything correctly. I also switched the left and right rear strut assemblies and springs to see if there was a problem with a specific setup, but the driver's side rear is still really low regardless of which strut/spring is on there.
Anyone have any idea about what else I could do here to fix/diagnose this? Should I not run FWD pro-kits on a Spyder? I can provide pics if necessary.
Thanks in advance.
