lower ball joint ???

lower some of the weight of the car onto it. Don't drop the whole car on it. Put a jackstand in there for safety and don't be under the car when you do it. Take it easy. Don't do it all at once. Gradually put weight on it. It will stop spinning.

okay so I should take it off both of the jackstands and just use the one then? guess I can try that and see what happens...I just need to get it together enough that I can have it towed to my buddies house where he can get it running for me. damn car has me so flustered right now. haha. 6bolt swap and now nothing. wont even turn over. just spins the starter!

well i had it so the starter was turning the flywheel but it sounded really wierd and was really loud and it was a hard crank...and then now its just the starter is spinning and not spinning the flywheel and I know I got that cable from the battery to the starter right...I put that on and then fished the starter down into the tranny.....(UNLESS! that lil clip fell off that goes to the solenoid, that could of come off when I was moving the wiring harness around and thats why)

The easy way to stop your ball joints from spinning. Is to put a hydraulic floor Jack under the ball joint and and apply pressure . The amount will very from car to car.

yea thats what I'm doing I'm sure I will get it ...I'm just gonna quit for the night before I get mad and kick it off the stands haha! and no the cable to starter and clip are both on there...i dunno wierd

you might wanna take out your starter and tested with your battery to see if it comes out or not or to be more sure you could take it to an Auto Zone store and they could check it out for you

How about the flywheel did you checked it for any ware or was it a new one

it was used but my buddy who gave it to me said it would be okay and he been doing DSM A LOT longer than I have and I trust what he says..he is my go to guy but even then it still could be bad...but I doubt it and he would too...I think something must not have gone together right when I put that block in!?!? i dunno I'ma just take it to him and let him figure it out. just sucks 4 months now without a car and I have no other ride...
