We are having a problem with our 99 Eclipse, sometimes it will start other times it won’t. When it will not start, we have no spark coming from the plugs.

We have at the yellow wire from the cas that measures only 2 volts. I know from the schematic this should be 8 volts.
Does anyone know what might be the cause of this low voltage on this line???

Oddly, sometime after disconnecting the yellow wire from the CAS, then the car will start. I don’t know what the pcm is looking for to generate the proper voltage to the coil.

Any suggestion will be a big help, thanks.

I unplugged the VSS, the cam sensor, and the crank sensor than I got the 8 volts. It this normal? Or are one or all sensors bad?

I'd say there's a good chance the cam sensor is bad if the voltage drops so low when it's connected.
