From a stop, when i let out the clutch and let the car roll, it wont die (in 1st from a stop or 2nd from a roll) it will stay alive w/o severe stuttering and will coast at 1mph. I assume this is fine. I've been adjusting master rod/ stop switch and have finally gotten smoother shifts and no more trouble finding gears. not notchy anymore. pedal has 1/4 inch free play.

I searched and found a ton of results for the opposite (car dies when let clutch out) but cant find an answer for this.

is this a problem?

i'm talking about feathering it out then releasing it without applying the accelerator.. i've driven manuals for about 8 years so im decent at feathering/clutch control..

i assumed this was fine, however on previous cars when i've feathered out the clutch w/o gas they've stuttered and died after 10-15 feet if i dont touch the gas.
