low idle with the headlights are turned on

just like the topics Says, when I turn my head lights on my idle drops to almost nothing.

Alternator going out, battery going out, bad connections from battery cables to terminals. Check those things out. Bring battery to a parts store and have them test it and check the cable while your at it then too.

Resolved:

okay and turns out the problem was the redneck I bought it from had air fuel ratio gauge. The wire was going into the o2 sensor down By the downpipe. disconnected that and my idol is perfect at 900. Turn on my headlights and everything is fine. Just a thought in case you run into crazy problems like that. Ended up replacing the alternator and all my battery wires and terminals.
