Ok, when I bought my car it came with an apexi turbo timer. Ever since then on the battery voltage, it reads around 13.1 volts running. When i test at the battery with my fluke meter while running it reads 14sh volts like its supposed to be. I know the charging system is good i just would like the timer to show me the right voltage the battery is pushing. Is there anywhere i should check in the wiring of the timer to make it read the actual voltage?

thanks, Abe

13.1 is fine.. you have to account for where its wired into and how long the "electric" has to travel to get there plus the amperage the other things its wired into is drawing. the only way to get it to read 14.0 is to have it wired up under the hood directly to the battery but then you would never see it and it would never function as a turbo timer.. as long as it stays average of 12.5-13.5 then your good. when mine started to read 11.9..11.8...11.5... etc. on my way to work i knew something was up and got to work in just enough time for the car to turn off and coast into the parking lot.. bad alternator..

How is it hooked up? Maybe its the power source that you are using to power the unit. My HKS timer had a harness adapter that plugged into the ignition harnesses in my steering column. I also had a Colbalt Autometer volt gauge that was tapped into the stereo wire. The Autometer gauge read almost a volt lower then the HKS timer that was running off the ignition wires. I have a 90amp galant alt. in my car if that matters..

ok, it sometimes goes down to around 12.6v and i have even seen it go down to 12.2 or so before, now i got me a new battery and hasn't ever since.

well idk how it's wired since it was there when i bought it and haven't messed around with it. I just wanted it to show me the real battery voltage but i guess the best way to go is by getting me a battery voltage gauge.
