i can jumper wire the fuel pump to the tester connector in the engine compartment on the fire wall. coils and transistors tested good. replaced the mpi relay

Pull your ecu and take a look for Leaking capacitors

Though most 94 ECUs are in pretty good shape... an don't have as many issues as the earlier years.(If that's what actually in the car and it really is a 94 not a 93 sold in 94)

Is this a 1.8 or 2.0n/t?

I opened up the ecu and everythiong in it looked allright. didnt see any leakage. what color is the leakeage. Its a 2.0 but its a swap from a 91 mitsubishi

I would say get an ecu they are cheap to pick up on here. I just fixed that issue on my buddies car that sat for 2 years cause he swore he had a good ecu. I brought one over i had and the car fired right up and purred like a kitten. My question is to you was it running before you had this issue or did you just swap it and it wont start?

i was drivin down the hwy and it just went dead on me. i rebuilt the head and it almost started up then just went dead

Are you 100% sure you don't have sparck or fuel?

You could always Pull the Cas and turn it buy hand to check for spark/fuel...
With the key on you should hear each injector fire as you turn the Cas. You can pull the plugs ground them an check for spark.

If you haven't already.

You didn't mention that the Head had been pulled and rebuilt can you confirm all the timing marks are lined up?

Your best bet is is to make sure the motor is set to TDC And check before you even pull the cas... Since you need to make sure that its not 180° out of time when Installing it anyway...

Edit:
Wouldn't hurt to post a couple high Res pic of the board I suppose. Though if the car fired up an died after a head rebuild and T-belt job I would be checking to make sure you have compression and Your timing is on as well

I've seen Ecu's that people said looked fine that have had had issues that you couldn't see easily till pulling the caps or looking at the underside of the board as well....

ok i will take a couple of pics as soon as i get back to the shop. yeah it was weird ### i used to have spark and it would kinda sound like it was gonna start. would the cas make the fuel stop. btw i jumped the fuel pump tester connector and i could see fuel when i disconnected the fuel return line after the pressure regulator. but no pulse from the injectors. also i found out that i had bad gas in my car from it sittin so long when i drained it and put it in my el camino.
