lost power/stalling

hey all, i just put a new isc in my 91 tsi to fix an idle problem. the idle issue was fixed until today when i was going home. normally if i wanted to i could ride second gear all the way to 40mph or more and the rpm would be no more than 3500, now if im in second gear my car will be at 3000-3500 and will barely get up to 30mph. my temp guage isnt showing any overheating, my check engine light is on, and my motor gets really hot, really quick. but most of all when i push the clutch the idle drops down to 750 and even 500rpm and stalls a little, if im driving and i push the clutch to turn it does die until i let the clutch go. im thinking head gasket?! but im really not sure, my motor is a little wet, the oil doesnt look normal, and sometimes i smell gas under the hood. the headgasket is dirty but doesnt look like its pouring anything out. please help. any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you forget to plug your tps sensor back together? Assuming that you removed your throttle body to replace your IAC. Im sure thats why your cel light is on.

yea i did, along with my idle switch(which was non exsistant on my car) and i was looking around under the car today, i have some oil leaks going on, but when i changed my valve cover gasket yesterday, my oil pressure went up, it was low before. someone said it might be my computer, but idk. it was driving normal yesterday after i adjust the cam sensor a little bit, but then we were going home and it wouldnt get to 40 at all, and i was having trouble getting it up to 35 as it was.

i just tried to go to work a few minutes ago, now its shooting a lil oil out of my exhaust pipe?! could that be my turbo, my car was making a squealing noise and was barley moving past 20 but it was holding alot of boost. anyone else had this issue?

I doubt it's your computer. If you think it's your head gasket, do a compression test. Also, if you messed with the CAS, get a timing light and make sure your car is in time. It sounds like a timing issue if your car has no power. Also, I've never heard that changing a valve cover gasket increases oil pressure, so this is just a coincidence.

for anyone that might be following this, i took my exhaust manifold and turbo housing off, there was no gasket for the housing to downpipe, and the was a bolt missing from the exhaust housing so i think that might fix some of the power loss and i have a better view of the head gasket, it doesnt look blown but at the same time i had a little oil spitting out of the exhaust so im gonna replace it just in case. also the plug on #1 had oil on it?!?
