Lost boost. Went from 18 psi down to 10

I lost my max boost pressure which was 18 psi. Now it only goes to 10. I checked my boost controller and its turned all the way down but I bought the car when it had 18psi. Could the boost controller turned itself down or something? I don't know what happened.. Help me troubleshoot this so I can find a solution thanks.

Boost leaks. Check all your couplers, vacuum lines, etc. Make sure everything is tight.

Problem fixed! Inter cooler coupling was loose , glad it was obvious
