where are the possible venting areas or weak points in the fuel system??

the gas cap has holes in it...plugging them seems to help..

i think i'm loseing fuel to evaporation when its hot tho.. i'm trying to figure out how to prevent that.. i haven't found any leaks.. besides my #4 injector, but i shouldn't be loseing fuel while the car is off...it seems i've lost 2-5 gallons of gas everytime temps get above 85*f

If your losing fuel without running the car, then i would have to say its not related to the fuel system at all. I would get a new gas cap or try and see if there are any other leaks or vents near the gas tank. Does the interior smell like gas really bad? Maybe the fuel pump housing is loose or faulty. Just a guess though.:thumb:

^^^same thing with my gas gauge. Sometimes my gas gauge will even go down about 1/10-2/10 of a tank when i turn off the car and will slowly go back up while I'm driving.

yea, i'm starting to notice the in accuracy of the gas guage.. dam i want digital..

so i give it some run time on a somewhat level plane before i assume how much gas i have left..

I have replaced the gas cap, the old one wasn't making much of a seal at all..

so far i haven't noticed a loss of fuel to the extent of it was previously.. the random smell of gas is gone.. it was never very strong..often smelled like fuel that sat for a long period..not what i just put in it..

i continue to monitor things..

The gas cap was the right place to start. Other than that, the EVAP system is primarily responsible for capturing fumes and later burning them. Look for leaks in the labyrinth of vacuum lines that make up this system.

right, someone could be stealing my gas too.. i need to figure out how this could be done.. often takeing the pump wires and supplying power will pump gas. for you.. but you'd also have to remove the return fuel line.. and put that in a container.. i haven't noticed any tool marks on the times or a clean connection.. so that kinda rules out gas theft, unless there is a method i don't know of..

Is it possible to shove a tube / pump down the filler tube? this is a 95 and might not have the security features new cars do. If a tube can go down there.. they could be useing a hand pump to get my fuel.. i have camera's setup to watch my car now just in case..

I continue to check the lines.. and evap can.. for smells and leaks..

my check engine light hasn't turned off since i bought the car 7 years ago.. i replace sensors etc as i can afford it.. i'm thinking it'd be better to just save for a pecu so i can more accurately diagnose what's going on.. and hopefully choose to turn off the light.. so i can get the damn car inspected anywhere i need it to.. inspectors don't like that check engine light here in VA

i'm still getting about 80 miles per hash mark without hydrogen..
i can get up to 140 miles per hash mark.. with it..

400-700 miles per tank.. for some reason hasn't happened despite this.. a full tank only seems to loose fuel faster. . . last time i was able to afford it, i got 360-380miles.. to the tank.. regardless of setup..

my spark plugs are due for changeing =c..been over 2 years since i replaced those..

she's been run dry the past two weeks.. takeing the gas cap off releases a vacume.. so the tanks and everything there is definately sealed good enough..

tho it was probably dumb to let it run down so low, now i got water/air/oil in the fuel lines.. or a full tank of bad gas =c smells like old gas and water is being burned.. engine oil is not discolored.. no other significant losses of fluids... it's gotta be comeing from the gas i just put in it..

ugh, so much for setting aside cash for maintaince...

oh gawd 1.8? if 2.0 is slow and ifish 140hp xD then wow.. my integra was a pretty beast 1.8L car tho..

my lowest mpg was 20mpg
my highest yet has been 45-60mpg 60mpg was with hydrogen. I have since been working on better designs..it's $50 for a pvc air-water cooler w/hydrolosis idea i want to peice together..

I prefer stainless steel tubing, but i definately don't have the funds for the ?440a steel? i need.

even the steel plates i used to use are not at the hardware store i bought them from anymore..

Oh and i'm not exactly being light on the pedal...tho with hydrogen and on good temp days.. it's as if i barely use the gas xD which is very cool..

Just trying to gather a handful of idea's on how to get more out of it, without hydrogen or fuel additives.. it should help when and if i add more modifications.
