:confused:Ok so I just bought a 2g 98 Eclipse with a 4g63t it was holding boost for a little bit maybe a week and it had a misfire. We fixed the misfire and it still isnt holding boost past 5psi if that. I have replaced plugs, wires, and soon the tps. I can not think of anything else I could use some help this is my daily driver.

I would go through and check all your vacuum lines. There is quite a few of them that could leaking air and giving you that boost leak. There are threads on here that can teach you how to make boost leak tester as well! Good luck

If Yur not holding boost then its for sure a boost leak. You can make your own tester for about five bucks.:hellyeah:

Thanks for the suggestions im going to try it this weekend and see if i can find the problem. Cross my fingers I just want to get this problem fixed

Sometimes boost leaks can be very hard to find. So you need to look carefully and take your time, dont pass over any areas.

Trouble spots can be, TB shaft seals, BISS, Injector seals, couplers, vacuum lines, blow off valve, ect.
