ok heres how it went. i believed my stock cat was stuffed up so i put a 3 inch downpipe on replacing the stock one. took it out for a test drive. it boosted faster and a couple more lbs than it did before then it cut out. next gear when it got to 5 psi it sounds like you just pulled the plug wire off and it only running on 3 cylinders. does it everytime it boosts.
ive bought new plugs and gapped them to 28. (tried smaller gaps also)
done a boost leak test. alls good
done a comp test. 150 on all four.
only thing i can think is an injector, or needs to be retuned since i put the new exhaust on and it can actually breathe now.
