So basically about a week ago i went out and started up the car and let it idle for about 13-15 mins while i was getting ready for work and tending to my sick girlfriend, when i went out to go to work it was ideling like someone popped the hood and tossed some 272's in there, and has sounded and idled like this for a week now. litterally sounds cammed, i am thinking a boost leak but evolved from just warming up? i know the BISS is leaking, i can feel vaccume at it with my thumb, i also noticed on my truboost i am showing 12inHG at idle (750rpm). its just so wierd, the tach and the SAFC shows a smooth idle, the engine, exhaust and my booty tell a differant story, i also am noticing a performance decrease. i have checked all connections (electrically and airflow related) and they seem sound. i wish i had a compressor to leak test this thing, i recently moved into an apartment, lost the garage to the x-wife...:banghead:

Wifes don't like hubby's with a girlfriend, hopefully thats not the reason why she's your ex... :thumb: Sucks you lost the garage though, I just got a garage and I don't know what I've been doing all these years without it!

Back on topic.
Its definitely a vacuum/boost leak and since I was an apartment DSM'r for a few years I can give you my FREE to $0.75 boost leak test secret. Just drive to the nearest gas station (with your BLT'r in the car and a few tools) and ask the clerk behind the counter for the code on the air compressor. You just type in the code and get free air so you can run a BLT as many times as you need to for FREE! :shhh:
