figured since I ran into Andrew a few nights ago but some fluke... I'd say hello. Got a non dsm right now.. Mine blew up last Oct..

Running a 94 mx6 v6

Tuner, If you bought it in Regina, The guy selling it was named Ryan. Him and his father built it.. I was going to buy it but got my black talon instead.. He told me it was built, 16G turbo etc...

So, Jeremy convinced me to head to the Coachman car show in Pike Lake this Sunday. Who's in?
I'm sure I could make it on the bike and keep you some company, Talon's plates are up and I haven't decided if I'm going to swap the plate from my golf to the talon as of yet.

Ill be there around ten till 3pm. Then going to my new employers to start getting some cash flow. Mid july I could be back in a dsm.

@BlkSmk- Hey how'd you get into the trucking industry? I recently got my licence and no ones willing to hire me with no experience.......no even the large trucking company I'm working for right now as a tech.

@Nekid-No not yet, haven't touched in a few weeks. I'm prepping the supra for a quick paint job by rattle can......

Buhay6

I started trucking in 08. I've been in the trucking industry since 1990 due to my father. I started as a wash boy.. then got my 1a in 08. Went thru training etc and got my first jobs with jays. Then went to t&t @ 855 60th st talk to john fhur. If your coming to pike lake ill give you a list of people to talk too.

I'm about an hour north of Saskatoon over here. Unfortunately driving a 94 ES at the moment. Picking up a couple 94 TSi AWD's :hellyeah:

I'll be going back to the winter beater for a spell. Need to send my transmission away, third gear synchro or fork is messed up so might as well get a Quaife front diff put in.

If you want, I could sell you my ACT 2600 pp and 6-puck. I am going to be switching over to a southbend setup.

Glad to hear that the winter beater is still kicking around!

My car also had some major clutch issues the other day. I think somehow my pedal moved out of spec, cause I couldnt get into any gears at all. I adjusted it and it seems ok, but havent taken it for a real drive since.

I'll definitely have to think about it, I need to do some research first to see if it would be a good fit with the setup I'm looking to get late August. I'm checking out flywheels in the classifieds to see what I can find because the stock one you gave me is more then likely toast. Think my old TOB/ clutch fork might have had something to do with it.
Is your tran under warranty? or does shep not do warranty?
LOL kind of one of those "while" I'm in there moments eh?

I also found My timing sides now leaking oil since fixing the rear main, I cant seem to win with these damn oil leaks!!

You check your clutch fork position to?

I have 2 trannies, both have the vc's pulled off and 5th gear assemblies off. 1's a 90-92.5 tran the other a 92.5-94. The 92.5-94 has a blown first/second gear and the 90-92.5 should just need the main cluster shimmed up to spec, which entails poping off the second case and installing the correct size shim. I bought off pimpy rider (brandon) back in 2011, he said it worked good when last run.

All i need is a bell housing but i will buy a complete transmission. How much would you take for a transmission?

Yup, clutch fork looked perfect in the middle, hydraulics all looked great, and the clutch still worked.

To be honest, I havent even driven the car since adjusting it so I hope thats all it was, if not my only other guess is there is something wrong with my ACT pressure plate. That wouldnt be a huge suprise considering all the stories ive read about failed ACT Pressure Plates...

hhhhmm that's still going to be shitty, good 6-8 hour job to change that out.

Yay for south bend...I'll have to let you know how it goes.
definitely!! I'll probably pass on your 2600 setup, when you mentioned south bend you got me thinking, I checked out their stage 2 setup and its exactly what I'm looking for at a good price......that is if you don't have any problems with yours haha

Nah, 1g's are pretty easy. Actually, I would say that 1g's are easier since we only have one mount on the transmission and 3 mounts on the engine, vs the exact opposite for 2g's.
