Ha, the name should have clued into me faster. I met Shelton last week and got the side skirts from him. The driver door cap either got slightly melted or mangled when he pulled it off or stored, the fender cups and passenger door cap are mint, and the two side skirts are missing a piece on the underneath (can't see it when it is mounted and shouldn't affect the mounting). The major prize though was the complete set of screws and what not that come with the skirts, all brand new OEM.

Would be nice to get a completely intact side skirts, but the driver door cap is a must before I get them painted and mounted.

He mentioned that there was some issues with the car, but as mentioned before, just proper diagnostics and it should be running smooth (as you mentioned before, the biggest issue is just the intake tract).

Hopefully by May the snow and salt will be gone and I'll have the HX35 tuned in.

Yeah im working out the issues with the Talon, new battery wires plugs intake gasket and need to get better hoses and clamps as I keep getting a boost leak.

My goal is to get the car reliable as much as I can, then next year start off with a strong platform to build up on.

I know of a 1g for sale in regina, has turbo timer, built 2.1 stroker, 20g turbo hks timing belt whole car for 1000, tranny is pouched

Hey guys. I've been on hiatus for awhile. Sold my 4g63 colts and most of my parts. I've been about 8 months dsm free. I broke down and bought a salvage 95 tsi awd auto. All I'm using off of it for now is the engine and etc. Excited to be at work on another dsm powered project! This one is going to be way better than the last one. Ill show up randomly with it at sir

Also, Are you guys actually going to defrost? I might go with my truck, but I am definetly not going to take my car out on fresh summer tires when there is still snow on the ground, let alone the mess it makes!

Really, love the idea of defrost and have been to the last two, but I am nearly certain I wont be bringing my car this year.

Just in case anyone is curious, Brock Salvage has got a 1gb N/T, I grabbed the seatbelts and throttle body out of it.

Affiliated Auto has a few, they got a 1ga 1.8 Laser, 1g N/T Talon, 1ga Talon Turbo FWD, 1ga Talon AWD, and 2g 420a Talon. The AWD 1g has the drivetrain all apart in the car, t-case, turbo, tranny (which is disassembled), etc. I couldn't get into car to take a good look though cause there was too much snow around it.

Not 100% sure, im not very mechanically ive forgotten lot over the years I need a new rad, im guessing hg, got bad boost leaks, so im seriously considering a complete overhaul or stroker install,

May first im ordering my new rad fan tstat and repairing my hard pipe, I put a down payment on a 2.3 stroker. Im in swift due to the truck having issues... waiting for a shop to open.

hey guys been a while since ive been on here since my car hasn't been on the road in a couple years but im looking to get it running again, I thought the head gasket blew when I parked it so im guessing I need a new motor by now. im just wondering if any of you guys from around Saskatchewan have a motor or turbo parts they wanna part with I can pay cash or swap for some stuff you may need since I have a 90 nt auto parts car. pm me if ## willing. work on my car starts this Thursday and hoping to have it on the road asap I miss that car

Is the waterpipe, tstat housing, and water neck still on that 90NT? I need to confirm that there weren't any differences between 90NT to other 1g waterpipes. I'm not running a water cooled turbo so I would love to swap out to a 1g NT pipe.

As you may have guessed, not bothering with defrost this year. even if the majority of ice and snow is gone, there is still way to much gravel / salt residue for me to bother. Have fun if you guys go, take lots of pictures too!
