Mike, do you have a build thread for your car?
One was a 1ga Laser turbo FWD with 1gb Talon rear end and the other was a really clean '99 GSX.
When are you going to take it to the track?
was hoping to but to much work *192 hrs every 2 weeks* and I barely have time for her.Hey guys, I am loving the sound of some of these builds in Sask. Next summer should be bad ass, ill be out for sure. For those guys working on their winter builds i stumbled upon this beauty located in saskatoon on kijijji. check it. Holset HX35 with mitsubishi turbine housing - Saskatoon Engine, Engine Parts For Sale - Kijiji Saskatoon Canada.
Also if anyone ever needs a hand turning wrenches I am more than happy to help, if my schedule permits of course.
Just look for a green '94 3kgt VR-4, that's me.
Yeah, working outside is no fun. What I did was buy some 2x4's, some brackets, and two huge insulated tarps to do my wire tuck with last winter. This winter I have moved the car to the farm and will be using the shop there. However, body work is best when you don't have to actively provide a heat source for stuff to cure.
The good news, the car should be ready soon as the melt happens this year and will finally be able to catch up to some Wednesday meets hopefully.
Can you guys keep your eyes and ears open for a 1ga parts car? Need one for the chump car build!
Did you buy just a tarp, or did you get an insulated tarp? I was able to get to 20C easy with one 1500w electric heater, combined with the halogen light I was using, I was running a sweat shop. Also, keep in mind that last winter was fairly mild. I'll post a picture up of my shanty.
I have a build thread over on Canada DSM for this winter. Not too exciting so far, just painted the engine bay thus far. I'm going to be hopefully putting in the DG coilover package, if they get in my hands before March.
