Well, it depends. A Gs Turbo might be a Gs which has been turbocharged (non factory). But some people refer to GSTs as GS TURBOs.

when i bought my 90 eclipse it says on the rear bumper in the right corner Eclipse GS
16 valves Turbo
And i do no maybe it's a mistake, couse when i'm geting the parts for the car from autozone, pepboys ect. they ask me what kind of car you got? i sad 1990 Eclipse GS turbo, and then the salesman told me that there is no GS turbo ,he sad that there is GS Non turbo or GS-T so i want to know is that guy is right or no :dsm: :thumb:

Jesus, I swear I just answered the same thread on dsmtalk. Weird WTF

Anyways, the GST moniker wasn't used until the 2g's. All first gens are technically GS Turbo cars, not GST's. Most people just use GST since its the more common term. Both should be identical.

As already discussed, Gs Turbo and Gst are the same thing. Only thing to really watch for is if your buying a car and on a 2g to make sure there Gs wasn't turbo'd. You would see a 420a but in 1g's, all 2.0s used a 4g63 motor.

Probably more infomation then you asked for or really cared for.. but it's there. :D
