Looking for a quick answer

Hey guys!
The stock rubber intake on a a 2g it has 4 recirculation holes/nipples...
1 for the BOV
2 for the CV
3 for the stock boost controller solenoid
4 for ????
What the fourth is for? Is a thick house going all the way from the intake to under the battery! i think is the EGR but not sure tho, and since I'm putting the 4" fp intake what can i do about it? can i just leave it unplugged?

Break booster is from the IM, not the intake pipe. The large hose you're referring to goes back to the emissions control nonsense under the battery tray. I'm sure it is connected to a "BOV" looking apparatus. Keep it, plug it, pull all the emissions stuff, I don't think it really matters. I still passed my emissions test up here in Ontario with out all of that stuff, and now I have a fancy new spot for my battery

That hose going under the batter is for your charcoal canister.. Which you are right is for emissions. If you leave it unhooked you'll have a pretty good size boost leak. Unless you eliminate all of the emissions stuff.. If you want to remove it all take a look in the Tech Articles for the Taboo speed shop vacuum diagrams..

Boost leak or vacuum leak? can i just tap it? as a temporary fix until i get the proper stuff to delete the EGR system?
EDIi: yeah after reading definitely is a boost leak that's why is recirculate to start with so to just delete all a need is a EGR block of plate right?

CHARCOAL CANISTER. don't plug it!!!
leave it vent to the atmosphere if you don't want it in your intake pipe put don't plug it. That hose release light fuel fumes from the gas tank.
