I want to know if my logs are good or need to be tuned more? How to check for knocks on the logger just by looking at the graghs or data, because I know it does not read knock? well thanks
matt

You can tell if it's knocking by looking at the timing curve at WOT. It appears you have some knock between 5200 and 5500. Try going wot around 2500 rpms in 3rd or 4th gear and keep it there until redline.

Yeah your timing is taking a major dive at 4200 rpm. But your total TIMA is good, 18 degrees at redline. :thumb:

It took a dive at 4200 because that's when he went wot. That's why I suggested starting at 2500 rpms.

In the first log, the TPS reads 94.7 @ 2756rpm and in the 2nd the TPS reads 93.91 @ 2900rpm so there is no problem there. :thumb:
Absolutely.

Looks like your problems are between 5k and 6k. Your timing should drop when boost hits (looks like you are getting about 15degrees) and then rise steadily to redline. When you see:

00:03.81, 5152.0, 15.0, 98.23
00:04.11, 5508.0, 13.0, 98.62
00:04.40, 5824.0, 16.0, 98.62

You know you have a problem. That 13 should be a 15 or 16. Try adding some fuel there.

When you are hitting it WOT, its only at 98%. Get that fixed that way its 100%.

That's not wot. It looks like he got into it progressively. It should read 98% or above from the point the pedal goes to the floor. So it didn't reach wot until 4200. There is no way you could get 21 degrees of timing at wot at 3900rpm's, it should be somewhere between 10-12 degrees.

That is true, but you want to get maximun throttle. So you want to play around with it and adjust a couple things in order to get the throttle to open its max.

As long as the TPS reads over 90% and you have verified that the throttle plate actually opens all of the way, there is no need to make an adjustment. I have never see a car where the TPS reads 98% and the throttle plate needs adjustment.

That can easily be attributed to a late spool. :thumb:

Yeah, but that is some nasty lag! Looks like he stomps the pedal at 2900 rpm and doesn't get full spool until 3900. In 3rd gear he should be getting full spool at 3000rpm on a small 16g with 2g compression.

Maybe my late spool was that I started my run in 2nd gear instead of 3rd or 4th. I will try to do another run this week. thanks for the replies
