I ordered a logger package off of ebay some time ago, and still can't get the damn thing to work. The cable it cam with is the passive type....and all it has is the DB9 serial connector with a black "signal" wire and then the two ground wires that loop together...There isn't any type of resisors or anything...Should there be??? Also i am using a hotsync cradle instead of the cable....Does this matter?

The resistor (and a diode) are usually placed inside the DB-9 connector. Hook it up, and see what hapens (with either a hot sync cable or cradle, doesn't matter).

:talon:

If it still doesn't work, let me know

the cable may be designed for a PC. If thats the case, buy a $6.99 "null modem connector" (it will be db9) from radioshack, plug that in, and enjoy tuning :)
