Logger installation

O.K. don't flame me but this is probably a stupid question. When I want to hook up my logger(palm M100 w/ Mmcd) is there a set of steps to follow when connecting it. ie plug cable into car, hook to palm, turn on palm,start car? I searched but found no info on this at all. It may be stupid but I just wanted to know the direction to follow. Thanks Travis

I had to splice in wires on my 1g with a 2g it just plugged into the obd port. Maybe I had a weird one.
