Log Help

So I pulled a log last night 3rd gear 2k-7k Can someone help me out on correcting the issues here? I'd really hate to have to pay someone to do it out here when i could do it myself.

I'm not sure why you've adjusted the MAF Clamp feature, but don't have it turned on. Your log shows you don't go above 2400Hz so there isn't really a need for it.

I'm guessing you have a GM MAF with MAFT?

You should get some larger injectors or turn the boost down, since your IDC % peaked around 95%.

I'd also recommend getting a wideband sensor.

I do have a PLX wideband and I see AFRs from 11.3-10.2 @ WOT

It's tough for me to make any assumptions about AFR or MAF values and delivered fuel accuracy without seeing wideband or MAP and calculated load values in the same log, mainly since that's what I'm used to. Based only on throttle position, the turbo you're using and logged rpm, it looks like you have an issue during spool-up. Detonation is tough to quell once it gets started and it looks like the ECU is fighting with knock sensor feedback through that whole log. Your commanded timing appears to be relatively in the ballpark, possibly slightly aggressive depending on how much boost the engine is seeing, so I'm wondering if your base timing might not really be 5* BTDC. If base timing checks out good, you might try dropping the timing adjustments to -4, -6, -7, -6 starting at 3000 up to 4500 to see if that gets rid of the abrupt onset of knock.

as soon as I get into boost, my AFRs are richer than i feel they need to be, all the way out... i know too rich ive questioned my base timing, but I also have an unorthodox crank pulley which I've heard the markings are off on... So I need to find a stock one to set the base timing.

Use the cam gears.

How rich are you under acceleration? You want to be somewhere between 11.8-12.5:1 for best midrange torque in my experience.

I think your wideband might deserve checking. If you hold the sensor in free air outside the exhaust, does it read max lean at 20:1 AFR? Your stock narrowband is indicating rich, but at ~10:1 it should be reading a full rich 1.00v.

pulled it out yesterday, read 19.9 so Im pretty sure its in good working order..
