I need help locating my WOT because when i drive my car it takes so long to pick up speed however when in park my rpms react as soon as my foot touches the throttle...i just dont understand it...help please anybody!!

Locating your wide open throttle? I don't get what the problem is. You are gonna rev a lot faster when your motor isnt turning the wheels....

...are you asking when does it open to "wide open" or where is the actual wide open throttle?

you have one throttle, and "wide open" is when you are giving 100% gas....100% open.

Well thats the thing it revs better and whatnot when its in park but once i put it ib drive the car takes forever to reach 4000 rpms...i cant even get down one of my blocks at 4000 rpms because it never reaches it..i recently had an engine swap and another member on here said it could possibly be that when they put the engine in they didnt set my WOT

Are you saying it picked up quicker before?

WOT is not a component that is mounted anywhere. It is Wide Open Throttle, when ## throttle blade is 100 percent open. ## throttle cable may need to be adjusted, but ## rpms will always go up faster in N or P cause there is no load

Do you know if you're throttle plate is opening all the way when the gas pedal is to the floor?

WOT is when the plate is all the way open. It isn't an actual part or anything like that.

Have someone sit in the car and just hold the gas pedal to the floor (with the car not running). Then check if it is open all the way. Either pull the intake hose off and look, or just see if you can move the arm on the throttle body any further. If you can, then adjust the throttle cable.

is your car manual or auto? If auto, you could possibly be stuck in a higher gear.

If your Manual maybe you clutch is slipping?
But you said put it in drive so im guessing your auto
