How do i take this black plastic thing that the wipers sit on off

Take the wipers off by pulling the plastic plug that covers the pivot point and removing the 10mm nut beneath. Slide the wipers off the shafts. then undo the two or so plastic screws and just wiggle the whole piece out of where it sits; it is held in with some clips. Do this with the hood open and it comes out. It is really easy.
