I would check the engine if the oil blew through the cap. It sounds kinda like a compression blow by, causing oil to be held in the head without being able to return through the oil return passages. Hopefully this is not the case.

Eh, it has been 10 months since that thread was posted, I am sure he has it figured out by now. As for how he runs that much on pump gas, big injectors. You have enough fuel you can do it. Also he was not running much timing advance. He could run more, like he said was going to to do, and still run that on pump gas though.

You dont want to know what you can do on 85% ethanol.....

You can run it a bit overly rich if need be without as much of a power drop as gas a touch rich vs gas on the ragged edge... Use a bit more and its more knock fighter and more intercooling effect... I dont over do it but look at the wide band and at full power shoot for a teeny hair over perfect afr for power... If you are'nt cruising closed loop the milage sucks enough as it is.. Its only 3mpg less if you drive like gramps.. but onced spooled and ripping around it goes quick.

Wow, old thread. I actually made the 521 AWHP on 26psi on pump with about 17 degrees of advance. It definitely would have made more power, but we didn't have the time.

What's with the picture of your boost gauge pegged, But it looks like your car is in a garage with the drivers side door open...
Note the word PEAK illuminated on the gauge. Some gauges (the really nice ones, anyway) have the ability to play back data and display peak values. Defi gauges like those are schweet.

I sounds like a wicked set up. :thumb: :sneaky:

bam, and its back from the dead!!

Just curious, I was looking at your picks and had a question. Were you running the stock 2g MAS for the dyno pull? Also was curious for any new numbers?

Well i'm not him, but i have been talking to him for some time, and I believe he is running a MAF-T and a 3 or 3.5 inch GM MAF sensor, tuned with DSMlink
