Ok guys- one quick question. My Eclipse GST and my dad's Porsche 928S have the same problem: faded leather. Moreso than mine, I'm concerned for his and wanted to do something for him soon for his birthday. I was cleaning out both of our cars and I was wondering on a product that would "bring leather back to life". His black leather is tightened up and dried out from years of neglect from the previous owner.
I did a google search and found these guys: http://www.asseenontv.com/prod-pages/liquid_leather_lifetime_color_black.html
I'm always skeptical on those "as-seen-on-TV" crap products, but I figured that anything might help.
Also, any suggestions are welcomed on what to do about cracking, dried, discolored leather. My main goal is to try to bring it back as much to life as possible.
Thanks in advance!
P.S.- I also used black leather shoe polish on a miscellaneous spot on my dad's car- but it didn't really bring the colour back. Seemed to just polish and protect the ugliness.
