i have the back half of mine mostly stripped. I still have some tar and brackets to remove though. I helped a buddy of mine strip a 91 awd, we took so much out of the back that there were almost 4 extra inches of fender gap. there are allot of useless brackets in the car. and if you want to go further get a drill, hole saw, sawzall, and plasma cutter and go to town. cut out the spare tire well, and any other spots that are not structurally vital and pop rivet aluminium sheet to it. if you are real hard core you can replace your glass with lexan.

if you wanna see stripped though

My whole car was professionaly dynomatted, Not one spot was left uncovered. I hadto spend 2 whole days taking all of that out first, I got 8 full grocery bags of it out of the car. Then I stripped everything from the back of the back seats, Back. Including the tar like stuff on the bare metal. I took out the driver and passenger side lap belts, the insulation in the roof, and some of the cardboard under the carpet. I also took out my bumper support, To mount my fmic. There is tons of stuff you can take out if you dont care what your interior looks like.. It is also VERY LOUD inside, With just my hatch gutted, I can hear everything when driving, It sounds like it is inside the car.

That has got to suck to not have the interior door pieces man.

IMHO, nothing other than the spare, jack, floorboard is worth taking out of the car from the front seats back.

Removing seat buckles, backseats, carpet, plastic paneling you are saving maybe 15 pounds. The only components worth removing is the spare, jack, ac...otherwise I don't think there is a point.

when i was off minded one night i decided to take all the panels and all the stuff from the rear out and throw it away cause i was gonna lighten my car up.. then i woke up like a week later and was like what the FU(K did i just do that for. OMG  :barf:
