lifters???

I did a quick rebuild of a head. Lapped the valves and put in some new ones that were not sealing. Ok I got it all back together now and I look at the bottom of the head and I got some valves sticking up and such. Im sure I got a lifter problem of some kind. I cant find any information on what to do with these damn lifters. do you just throw it in the engine and when It gets oil does it work or what? I wouldnt want to go bending them all up right away after all this work. bottom line..

how do you prepare the lifters in a fresh head? I got three more engines to build but this is a problem.

I just soaked mine in oil overnight and then the next day took a paper clip and pushed the little pin and pumped them a few times. That's it.

Im going for it. I check all the manuals and vfaqs and they dont say anything but put in new lifters and go. I bathed them good in some mobil 1.. thanks

went out put 150miles on it.. runs great.
