Lifter question

Hey guys, I've been reading through this forum for a few weeks looking for something but have had no luck. For lifter ticking on a 4g37 1.8 motor, and its BAD. I've kept reading on how replacing the lifters with 3g lifters will cure this, the question is, will those lifters go into my 1.8 motor? The thing that sparked my mind about this was because all I could find of these new lifters are sets of 16, and I only have eight.

look up the part number, see if it matches the 4g64 part number.

Now I feel kind of stupid, I would not have thought of that for a couple of days probably. Thanks for saving me a few brain cells.
