lifter? idk hel me please

yesterday i got my car back from turbotrix. And it was runing great no problems. Then today coming home from school at 3000 rpms i heard knocking real bad and it is real loud befor i left school i put oil in it. Could the lifter of broke or what. what the hell could this be thanx. on most dsm's the lifters tick mine did now it is realy loud only at 3000 and above thanx guys for the help.

What was done at Turbotrix this time? Can you recreate the noise by just free reving it? If so, pop the hood and see if you can isolate where it's coming from.

hey long time no see presser plate and fork and thow out bearing i poped the hood it sound like it is rite on the valve cover that all i know.

open the valve cover and take a look if you can visually see if there is any damage done...

i cant rite now cause it is snowing out but i will is it hard to change valves and lifters .

Hey did the new work finally solved your clutch problem? Back to the new problem, does your belts squeal? Before my crank pulley completely seperate itself it would make the belts squeal from time to time and it constantly makes ticking/clunking noise during start up and under acceleration. I would suggest try taking it back to Jeff and have them check it out, at least you might get some ideas to get started with.

no the belts dont squeal at all every thing is fine yes i sloved the clutch problem to i hate the weather rite now so what you think it could be.

I don't know without looking at it, lifter tick should go away after the car warmed up. pulling the valve cover to take a quick look wouldn't hurt. How did we go from yesterday to today, I was planing on a all nighter on my driveway tonight.
