Haha, it was raining all that week.. no chance to clean the car!Even that jack doesn't fit under my front bumper, I need to drive it up onto blocks.
As for the lips, yes you can break anything if you hit it hard enough. The physics of the RM lip tends to have it "catch" on things and break.
The lip I made (since I couldn't find another RM and didn't want to waste my time) Is made so that is LESSENS the chances of breaking.. plus I don't think you can say that the CF is stronger than Lexan. Will it crack? Maybe if I try to bend it.. I have bottomed out my car hard and the bolts on the bottom of the bumper take 99% of the damage. Also just the dynamics of the lip I made doesn't "catch" on things. The only thing that would hurt it is a direct curb smack... which even then the car will make enough noise that you would be smart enough to back up.. and still then there was almost no visible damage.
The CF that I have seen.. like my CF hood. Well it cracks easier, scuffs up bad, clear-coat can be damaged. It just wasn't all that "invincible" that I thought it would be. The material I use is made for bullet proof glass, hockey boards etc. In this application I feel that the material used is much better along with the design.

I will add to that by assuring you that our lip will last much longer than the RM lip.

i dont think they look that great. saying its functional isnt really true, for one because its not attached to any sturdy frame to provide any real downforce, besides maybe stretching the bottom plastic of your bumper down from the top half. to say the 13 bolts that affix the plastic to the rest of the car are powerful enough to provide 100 lbs of downforce is kind of silly. second, because the air basically goes in to a concave shape to begin with, and not just a lip, it just pushes back and not down.
i'd say the only thing these lips would do is give upforce whenever you bottom them out on san antonio shit roads.
