I am thinking on buying a 95 eclipse rs and it has 174,000 miles on it,my 94 only has 124,000 on it,but I want the new style, how long do you expect the 95 motor to last,and would it be worth it for $2,995? Thanks

I think it would be good cause you could sell your 94 and get about 66% of your money back. But as far as how long the engine will last it all depends on the previous owners. It may still have another 100,000 miles left on it if they took care of it, or 1,000 it they beat on it. When buying used cars you never know. Try talking the price down 2-3 hundred.

If its a non riced out RS then it should be ok for a while. You should think about how long you want to own this car.
