LICP w/14b on a 2g

I'm doing a 14b swap in my 95 GSX. This car has the "silencer" on the compressor outlet so it has a shortened licp. I've got a j-pipe from a 1g for the 14b, but it appears that it may be too short to reach the ic. Do I need something different, like the ones from RRE or slowboy? Or do I need to just stretch it out?

my licp didnt have the silencer but i used the stock 1g jpipe and just extended the vertical section of the licp 6 inches with a piece of exhaust pipe. youll have to cut off the clips on the fan that hold the wiring and shift the wires over to the side and zip tie them.

My car had the silencer on it as well, I eliminated it by replacing that section with a 2.25" dia pipe stub I picked up at autozone. You can use the stock 's' section that connected the T-25 to the silencer and hack the upper 90* off. That way you can use the bottom 90* to connect your J-Pipe to the pipe stub, then the pipe stub to the coupler that goes to the SMIC.
