Reason: Spun Rod Bearing :/
BI: On my way to the gym one friday morning, while making a stop at the local unimart, I felt a minnor jolt, and a small loss of power (being 40yrds from the unimart, i proceeded, thinking, hrm, that cant be good, ill have to check that out).. after returning to my car, i started her up, and heard a sort of knocking noice, 'uh-oh' i said, 'that wasnt making that noice before, so that cant be good :/..' so i turned her off and called AAA. Once we got to the shop, the mech came out, turned it on then right back off, and told me wot the noice was.. Turns out I had lose oil pressure somehow, and well, we all know what will happen to metal on metal without oil, one or both of them loose ):

Damn... i just sent mine off for a 2 week long vacation at English Racing ala flatbed, I actually thought about snapping a shot of it on there, but had to get back to work (mechanic's aren't free).

Reason: Needed a real mechanic's tlc?
BI: I had just finished rebuilding my motor (that i payed some guy to put my sbr stage 1 short block in and he didnt have it in time, and put a hole in the #1 piston, so i had to rip it all apart myself and redo it) and sent her off to get ut in time correctly, inspected, and anything that needs replaced, replaced...

Scobey, Did you have some sort of towing issues? I notice both pictures show two different tows.... One your on a flatbed and the other your on a dolly...

Obviously not much... My friends WRX was dropped off of the truck! They yanked it all the way up and the area where they had the hook ripped open and down went the car! Only scraped the front and rear bumpers... but he didn't care that much since we ramp the car in mud pits!

A dolly? haha... I think all AWD vehicles should! I had soo many problems towing my AWD DSM's... They kept sending me regular trucks that just hook the front or back wheels... and I almost was arested for asulting a tow truck driver that was about to yank on my 90 GSX with the rear wheels still planted.

June 2005: ACT clutch spring decided it didn't want to stay attached to the rest of the disc. My dad actually pulled it behind his Blazer to the Mitsu dealership, but after being there for over a month and them not having a mechanic who was competent enough to install another ACT 2100 kit with a Fidanza flywheel I had it towed to a friend's shop who had the job done in less than 2 days of being there.

One on the flatbed was taking it to new apartment...the dolly was a couple days later, when I realized I didn't have the time or the tools to fix it. I was a little mad when I saw a normal tow truck pulling up...'I requested a flatbed' 'Yep. We know'

Roadside assistance from Geico is great though :thumb: Saved me lots of money.
