This is an odd question. I have researched it but can't seem to find anything on it. My friend has a 95 GSX and I have a 97 GST. He is looking for a replacement seat because his is in extremely bad shape. He is very meticulous on his car. Now the pattern on the seats and door panel trim between his car and mine are different. Does anyone know in depth about the style of the seats between years? He wants to find a seat that matches his others and the door panels but neither of us are sure if the style he has is strictly 2ga or if it's only 95 style etc. Both his and my car have gray leather. I don't know exactly how to describe how his look except the door panel trim has like small precisionly placed holes like needle holes. I can text pics to anyone that might can help. I don't know if anyone can understand this or knows what I am talking about because it's kinda hard to explain. I am just trying to get an answer to help him. He has ocd so his stuff has to match..

I don't know if I can from a phone but I just checked the classifieds and looked at a few that show interior. A variety of 95 models have this particular interior. One 96 model showed a seat and it didn't look the same but I couldn't tell for sure because of how the light hit it

Sounds like he has a perforated leather style in his leather. I picked up a set of gray leather GSX seats a week ago that had this perforated leather pattern. A few years ago when I had my first Spyder, I did the same thing with buying GSX seats and they too had perforated leather. Is his AWD? I've never seen this style on any DSM seats other than the ones from an AWD model.

Yes perforated leather is exactly it. I have seen it in mostly 95 cars. Before I asked, I had Google'd everything I could think of to distinguish the leather including just random pics of 2g cars. I have seen it in awd cars, yes his is awd, but I seen this style in a 95 fwd car in the classifieds. I haven't seen enough 95 models to be able to say that's typical style but I know like you said that the 95 gsx cars have it.

Give me the last 9 digits of the vin and I'll see if I can get the interior trim code for you.

1se182494 - his car, 95 gsx
3se155557 - my car, 95 gst

Since both are 95 cars, might be a shot. My car has a cloth interior which is probably stock but it probably won't hurt to check. The door panels have custom trim and it has nothing stock under it. The interior could be swapped. On the other post, I did not see if they were power seats so I don't have solid 100% evidence. I am still looking to get a solid answer though.
