Leather interiors are getting very rare around here ...Many other vehicles do have leather can i swap them over to the 1g talon (picked up a new 92 awd for a project , not the one in my profile) ..Not worried about drilling extra holes etc ,never done it so i have no knowledge on doing anything like this yet

I was wondering the same thing the interior of my 98 eclipse is black/Tan and i want to change it to all black with the black leather seats:thumb:

Your best bet is to measure the height, width, length and compare it to what space you have to work with. Ive been thinking of doing this too. So many cars have way better stock leather seats than ours do. And the cost for reupholstery is 1000 to 1500. Even with the leather covers(theyre very nice though), they still cost around 750 last i checked but youre still stuck with the same general padding thats underneath. Id love to grab some rsx seats or something like that. My buddy has an 06 rsx type s and theyre very nice. Maybe some 3rd gen or even 4th gen eclipse leather seats ( if they would fit that is)would have to be nicer than our 15 to 23 yr old cars!

If you have the bracket from the old seat, you should be able to weld the new seat onto it. I took Prelude seats and welded them straight to the floor in my E30. looked great, but they were tough to slide and they sat super duper low in the car so I wouldn't suggest just making something work. You'll never go wrong doing it the right way :thumb:

I used stock 1G brackets and was able to modify them so they fit some "racing" seats. The seats I put in were pretty wide so they can't slide at all. I just adjusted them to my liking, and then I bolted them down. The entire project was a pain in the ass though :banghead:
