2G Leaking head gasket.

I probably have a minor head gasket leak to coolant. There is stream of bubbles after burbing system well. Also tried taking injector plugs off and crank engine. Still some bubbles. Still need try leak down to verify cylinder number. I suspect my block or head surface was not machined enough well for cometic or there is crack in head. My question is if i find head gasket leaking and switch to oem composite with l19 will it hold 10.5:1 cr with fp green e85 around 20-25psi?

Cometic stuff is garbage period, installed their gaskets on customers motorcycles at the customers request for years and then they jumped into the automotive world and they were junk for bikes and they are junk for cars, never even considered a Cometic anything on any car after experiencing their motorcycle gaskets, they are owned by Wiseco piston. A good oem style gasket should do you fine as long as you keep your timing in line.

It will hold that all day as long as timing is not through the roof. Especially when boost kicks in.

Proper install and your tune is key to having your head gasket hold up.

Thanks. Will mostlikely find out the problem today. First cometic held fine but seems like they are not worth the hassle for me.

Was not able to pressurize cylinders today yet. Friend has emission exhaust gas analyzer so we tried if it smells any exhaust gasses in coolant but result was zero. Going to try pressurizing later.

Flushed coolant system switched thermostat and radiator gap. Still did not do leakdown test but issue is totally gone for now. No overheating or missing coolant anymore. Alot of rust came out of block with flushing.
