lc-1 and link v3

Hi
I read the installation article in the tech archive, where you have to drag the wb wires through the firewall and solder them to the ecu. I was wondering why can`t i use the factory harness for the front o2 sensor? Is there a way to connect my lc-1 directly to the harness? I have DSMLink v3.

In theory, I don't see why you couldn't.

It's just the LC-1 has more wires to hook up if you utilize them all.

The other thing you'll want to verify is if the black wire coming into the stock o2 sensor is a sensor ground or not. One of your LC-1 wires needs to go to a sensor ground and another to a chassis ground.

Then you'll have to run the black LC-1 wire into the cabin if you plan on installing an LED and button.
