Laser Rs - No reverse

Hey dsmers, my laser hasn't been going into reverse. It feels like it goes into it but nothing happens. I also just bought a spare transmission, its not together.
Can you guys help me to find forms how to rebuild a transmission and put one in.

auto or manual? when my acr neons tranny was goin out i lost reverse. so shes ###### done for

its a manual and it has the 4g63 motor in it.

check your shift cables on the tranny. make sure there tight, when i was loosing reverse that was my problem
