Laser Diff

What differential is a 90 fwd laser RS-T(urbo) is there a way to tell on the car what kinda diff it has?

FWD's only have one type.

which would be??.... Open diff? Limited Slip Diff? Possi(guesssing not this one as it is front wheel drive and dont notice screetching as going around corners...

The transaxles in all fwd DSM's are open differentials. A helical type LSD is available such as Quaife and are a worthwhile upgrade, but run about $1,000. There are cheaper insert types but I have heard of them causing premature wear to the differential.
