Lancer Evo 7 engine for gs

I was wondering if is possible to put the lancer evo vii's 4g63 engine in a 2g gs body i was looking at the engine bay layout in an evo and they look almost similar timing belt is on the same side and so is the exhaust and intake manifold im just not sure if mounts would need fabrication

You can put any engine in any car just depends on how much time and money you have. I thought of this myself a while back, defenitly not woth it. DSM's are so cheap now a days they are usually buy one get one free. My advice just get a AWD turbo 1g and build it from there the performance potential and cost is unbeatable.
